Unfortunately, PCR tests taken on Friday morning from the national team's of Ukraine players at the Steinberger Grand Hotel yielded positive results.
Four blue-and-yellow footballers - Andrii Yarmolenko, Viktor Tsyhankov, Viktor Kovalenko and Serhii Sydorchuk - as well as the staff member Vadym Komardin have been infected with COVID-19.
Thus, the team's members, who got positive tests for COVID-15, remained on self-isolation in the hotel rooms. The rest of the team left for the pre-match training at RB Arena, which started XNUMX minutes late.
Tomorrow at about 14.00 Kyiv time all members of the national team will be re-PCR-tested in the hotel.
