News from the camp of the national team of Ukraine: the team received permission to conduct pre-game training (updated)

Information has just been received from the local authorities of Lucerne and the organizers of the UEFA League of Nations match that the national team of Ukraine can prepare for the pre-match training, which, as previously planned, will begin today at 19.00 Kyiv time.

At the same time, the players must arrive at the Swissporarena stadium already dressed in training uniform and with their shoes in their hands. It will be recalled that footballers usually prepare for official training by changing into the locker rooms of the stadium. This time, they just put on their shoes in front of the lawn and start warming up, and then pre-game.

This will be preceded by a press conference of the head coach of the national team Andriy Shevchenko online (starting at 18.30 pm).

Due to the appearance of new infected players, additional PCR tests will be conducted tonight or tomorrow morning in the blue-yellow camp, after which the final decision on the match will be made.

Meanwhile, three players called up from the youth team - Serhiy Buletsa, Oleksandr Nazarenko and Heorhiy Sudakov - having already received negative results from their morning tests for the presence of coronavirus, have already departed a regular flight from Kyiv to Zurich.

PS The information has just been updated. The team will go to the stadium an hour before training and pass PCR tests in the locker room, the results of which will be decisive for the decision to hold a match of the League of Nations Switzerland - Ukraine. After that, the guys will change clothes for training in the locker room.

P.P.S The situation with infected players is constantly making adjustments to the national team's plans. With their latest decision, the organizers moved the PCR tests of the players and the pre-match zoom press conference of the head coach of the national team of Ukraine to the hotel where the blue and yellows are located (the time of the press conference will be announced later).

This means that the players of the national team of Ukraine today will not use the locker room at the stadium, and will go to the hotel to take a shower after training.
