Andriy Shevchenko: "All the guys are ready for the match with the Swiss team in a fighting way, there is no panic"

The head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko shared his thoughts on tomorrow's match against the Swiss team in the final, sixth round of the group tournament of the UEFA League of Nations 2020/2021.

- We called three players from the location of the youth national team of Ukraine, - said Andriy Shevchenko. - They made this choice because they knew that these players were being trained and passed negative tests for coronavirus.

In general, as for the atmosphere in the team, it is quite normal. All the guys are fighting, there is no panic.

As for who deserves to stay in League A next season, I think that both national teams, Ukraine and Switzerland, deserve this right.

I would also like to note that we respect the rules in force in our host country. Therefore, if local authorities order new tests for coronavirus, we will pass them tomorrow.

We are still waiting for the results of repeated tests made today. If we have enough players to go on the field, we will play. Let's see what test results, which players are in the lineup, and then we will determine the composition. I know we are playing against a strong team. We will try to expose the maximum number of combat personnel.
