U-17: On December 9, the youth national team of Ukraine will learn the names of rivals in the Euro-2022 qualification

On December 9, the draw ceremony of the qualifying round of Euro-2021/2022 among young men under 17 will take place.

During this draw, the national team of Ukraine U-17 (players born in 2005, coach - Oleg Kuznetsov) will be in basket B. In total, 52 national teams will take part in the ceremony. The draw procedure will start at 11.00 Kyiv time.

Cart A: England, Italy, Portugal, Germany, France, Belgium, Ireland, Sweden, Hungary, Austria, Serbia *, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina *.

Cart B: Scotland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Russia, Greece, Slovenia, Poland, Croatia, Slovakia, Iceland.

Cart C: Finland, Cyprus, Belarus, Romania, Azerbaijan *, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Wales, Georgia, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Faroe Islands.

Cart D: Lithuania, Albania, Estonia, Armenia *, Kazakhstan, Kosovo *, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Luxembourg, San Marino, Malta, Gibraltar.

* According to a previous decision of the UEFA Executive Committee and the working group on emergencies, they will be divided into different groups: Serbia and Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The national team of Israel as the host of Euro-2021/2022 received an automatic pass to the final stage of the tournament, which will be held in May 2022.

The national teams of the Netherlands and Spain have received direct passes to the elite qualifying round, which will take place in the spring of 2022.

The other 52 teams will take part in the qualifying round. These teams will be divided into 13 groups of four teams, one from each basket. The hosts of the mini-tournaments of the qualifying round of Euro-2021/2022 will be determined later. Matches of this stage will take place in the period from July 1 to November 16, 2021.

The elite qualifying round will feature the two strongest teams from each group, as well as the top four teams, which will take third place in the meetings with the first and second teams of their four.
