News from Ukraine camp: returning home

On the final day of the November gathering, Lucerne met the autumn dampness and cold that blew from the fog-shrouded Lake Lucerne.

This is an illustration of Switzerland, which is unfriendly to Ukrainians this time. In view of the yesterday's decision Lucerne Chief Medical Officer Roger Harstall on the ban on the match, the national team of Ukraine spent the afternoon with an uncharacteristic feeling of uncertainty for the team.

Of the events on the agenda, only lunch and dinner remained, and instead of the traditional preparation and setting for the match, there was a lot of free time, the unexpected appearance of which even somehow disoriented.

In the end, the players spent the rest of the day talking together, board games and watching the match for the first place in our group of the Nations League in the evening. The defeat inflicted on Germany by Spain frankly struck the blue-and-yellows, as, probably, the whole of football Europe.

Football has once again proved that there is always room for shocking results: hardly anyone expected that it was in the game Spain - Germany will be the biggest victory of one of the teams in League A this season.

In the morning, the national team of Ukraine woke up at 9 o'clock European time and immediately went to the final breakfast meal in the restaurant of the Radisson Blu Hotel.

At 10.45, two team buses (this number of vehicles is a requirement for transporting teams during a pandemic) left for Zurich Airport. A charter flight to Kyiv is scheduled to depart for Europe at 14.00 p.m. After landing in the Ukrainian capital, the final gathering of blue-and-yellows in 2020 will be completed.

Upon arrival in Boryspil, all members of the Ukrainian delegation will take PCR tests at the airport.
