Premier League. Vorskla defeated Kolos and took third place
Today, in two matches of the 10th round of the UPL, out of three, the teams that are currently fighting for the third row of the table took part.
Desna was the first to play its match, and Oleksandr Ryabokon's wards unexpectedly failed to keep up with Vorskla for many, losing at home to Lviv. Chernihiv had a significant game advantage, created many moments, but Lviv realized one of their counterattacks in the first half and kept the winning score.
After the change on the coaching staff, Lviv is showing significant progress in the results. Under the leadership of Georgy Tsetsadze, the team earned one point in six rounds, and after his resignation and appointment as acting head coach Vitaliy Shumsky scored six times more in three rounds and left the last step.
Vorskla took advantage of Desna's misfire, beating another bronze contender, Kolos. Poltava attacked sharper than their opponent and were close to opening the scoring in the 16th minute. Referee Kryvushkin appointed 11-meter after Novak's foul on Kane, and then canceled it, receiving a tip from the VAR referee. Instead of a penalty, a penalty was awarded, which the hosts did not realize. And soon Chesnakov, punching his head, hit the post.
However, the persistence of Yuri Maksimov's wards eventually became apparent. Sklyar in the first half and Scherbak and Jaworski in the second half with their accurate shots provided "Vorskla" with a crushing victory. Poltava residents have increased their distance from persecutors and continue to breathe into the heads of leaders.
In another match, Minai won a strong-willed victory over Dnipro-1. In this match, three 11-meter throws were scheduled, and all of them were realized.
