UEFA Executive Committee at a regular meeting made several important decisions on tournaments for national teams and clubs
A meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee, which includes UAF President Andrii Pavelko, took place today in a video conference format. In particular, the following important decisions were adopted.
UEFA Conference League 2022
The final of the first draw of the new tournament will be hosted by Tirana, Albania. The match will take place at the new National Arena stadium.
The final stage of the UEFA Nations League 2020/2021
Italy became the host of the final stage of the Nations League. The semifinals (October 6 and 7), the match for third place and the final (October 10) will be hosted by Juventus Stadium in Turin and San Siro in Milan.
The final stage of Euro-2023 (U-21)
Romania and Georgia have been named the hosts of the final stage of the 2023 European Youth Championship. The matches of the tournament with the participation of 16 national teams will be hosted by four stadiums in Romania (two in Cluj-Napoca and two in Bucharest) and four stadiums in Georgia (in Batumi, Poti and two in Tbilisi). The opening match will take place in Romania, and the final - in Georgia.
