In 2021, the Finnish national team will take part in the qualification for the 2022 World Cup and the final part of Euro 2020.

Following the draw of the European qualification for the 2022 World Cup, the Finnish team was in Group D, along with Ukraine, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kazakhstan.

Official site of the Football Association of Finland the, as of today the national team of the country has to hold 11 matches in two tournaments. Markku Kanerva's charges will start the year on March 24 with a World Cup qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
