Kateryna Monzul took the third place in the IFFHS best women's referees ranking of the last decade
The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has released ranking with the best women's referees in the world for the last decade (2011-2020).
The ranking was based on the results of the election of the best women's referees in the period from 2011 to 2020. The register included only referees who were at least once in the top 20 of the relevant vote.
The referee who took the first place received 20 points, the second - 19, the third - 18 and so on.
In the end, the German Bibiana Steinhaus won (171 points). The second place was taken by the Swiss Esther Staubli (135), and the third place with 124 points was taken by the Ukrainian Kateryna Monzul.
It will be recalled that Kateryna Monzul took third place in the referendum on the definition the best referee of 2020 among women who also performed IFFHS.
