Ukrainian referees began their training camp in Belek, Turkey

Ukrainian referees hold the traditional annual winter training camp in Turkey, where they will prepare for the second part of the football season during the week.

The Ukrainian delegation arrived at the venue of the NTC with a delay of more than four hours in compliance with the medical protocol and sanitary-epidemiological norms, as the plane was unable to take off in time due to a blizzard in Boryspil. Unlike snow-covered Kyiv, Antalya greeted the referee with sunny weather and an air temperature of + 12 ° C. Ukrainians arrived at the Kempinski Hotel, which will be their headquarters at the time of the gathering.

The training camp program includes daily morning and evening physical training classes, as well as a theoretical part, during which the instructors of the UAF Referees Committee will analyze the refereeing of matches and improve the skills of referees in working with the VAR video replay system. The referees will not be left without practice, in addition to daily tests and theoretical classes, they will work on friendly matches of teams that are also currently holding their training camps in Turkey.

After rest and recovery, on the first day of the meeting, the referee was already waiting for the traditional test of the Rules of the game and a video test of 20 different game situations.

Tomorrow morning the referees will move on to practical classes on speed, coordination and mobility. Also tomorrow will be the official opening of the 17th training camp, where the chairman of the UAF Arbitration Committee Luciano Luci will talk to the wards.
