An investigation into the incident that took place in the match between UPL Lviv and Kolos has started
The Ethics and Fair Play Committee has launched an investigation into the incident that occurred in the match of the Ukrainian Premier League between FC Lviv (Lviv) and FC Kolos (Kovalivka) on February 20, 2021 between the head coach of the home team and the fourth referee of the match.
In the 67th minute, the referee of the match Viktor Kopievsky issued a warning to the head coach of FC Lviv Vitaliy Shumsky after receiving a radio message from the fourth referee Mykola Kryvonosov. After the match, Vitaliy Shumsky publicly stated that the cause of the incident was his appeal to the fourth referee to communicate in Ukrainian.
The Committee will interview witnesses and examine other available material in order to clarify all the circumstances of this episode and to comply with the Code of Ethics and Fair Play.
