The Ukraine women's team got a strong-willed victory in a friendly match against India

Natalia Zinchenko's wards at the training camp in Turkey got a strong-willed victory in a friendly match with the national women's team of Indiaher. 

On Saturday, February 20, as part of the training camp in Turkey, which aims to prepare for the playoffs of Euro-2022, the women's national team of Ukraine in sparring drew with Serbia. Now the friendly team was waiting for a friendly match with India.

In this game, Natalia Zinchenko decided to check the team's reserve, releasing only three players in the starting lineup, who started the match with the Serbs from the first minutes.

The Ukrainians started the match well, the goalkeeper of India made a double save after the Andrukhs came face to face. However, later rivals repeatedly threatened Bondarchuk's possession. In the 14th minute after a pass from the right flank, the Asians managed to open the score.

Later, after one of the rivals' attacks, the Ukrainians scored the ball into their own goal, but the referee recorded an offside. However, in the 31st minute, after throwing from the depths to the left edge of the penalty area, the Indians still managed to score a second time.

Natalia Zinchenko responded with six substitutions in the 39th minute, releasing the "basics" players. It paid off - our team managed to score before the break, when Kozlova shot the goal after a pass from the left and a discount partner.

The second half passed with the complete domination of Ukrainian women. Immediately after the break, Kozlova scored from a good position past the goal. In the 62nd minute, the blue and yellows managed to equalize the score - Apanashchenko scored from the penalty spot.

Later, Ovdiychuk had a great chance to score, but did not hit the goal. In the 77th minute Kozlova from the penalty spot struck exactly at the goalkeeper. At the end of the meeting, Apanashchenko and Basanska struck inaccurate blows. Already in overtime, the Ukrainians still scored: after a great combination with a pass from the fifth partner Apanashchenko made a double, throwing the goalkeeper of India.

So 3: 2 is a strong-willed victory in sparring for the blue-yellows. At this point, the Turkish training camp of our team is over, the Ukrainians will return home on February 24.
