The girls' final within the framework of the UEFA Grow project will take place in Kyiv

The long-awaited final part of the Kyiv Oblast Women's Football Championship, organized by the Kyiv Oblast Football Association, will take place on February 28 in the Rejo arenas (VDNH, Kyiv, 1 Akademika Glushkova Ave., 11.00) from 17.00:10 to 12:XNUMX after a forced pause due to pandemic restrictions. within the framework of the UEFA Grow project, which is implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association together with the pilot regional football associations. Girls aged XNUMX-XNUMX from different parts of the region (Obukhiv, Irpin, Krasylivka, Slavutych and Kyiv) will play in the support group - family and friends.

The regional girls' championship in different age groups, which until recently was something far from reality, is now a regular activity and is called "Our Game", which states the belief of Ukrainian girls themselves that they are full participants in the football process.

During the project, almost 3 girls in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts were given the opportunity to join football on a regular basis, most of them for the first time.

It has been scientifically proven that football has long been a social phenomenon that has a positive impact on a number of social processes. Among other things, it is about contributing to the development of gender equality by supporting girls' and women's participation in football on an equal footing with men, promoting the relevance of an active lifestyle, social integration and family cohesion.
