Ukrainian U-21 Championship: Shakhtar won six games in 2021 with a difference of at least two goals

In 2021, six rounds took place in the Ukrainian U-21 championship (the 16th was incomplete, the match between Lviv and Dynamo was postponed to a later date), after which there were significant changes in the standings. In particular, the leader has changed: Dynamo lost the first step to Shakhtar.

However, the same postponed match with Lviv can return the lead to Kyiv. It will be recalled that two more matches remained unplayed since the fall: Vorskla - Rukh (1st round) and Olimpik - Zorya (10th round). Dates for these matches are still unknown.

But, keeping in mind the game that Dynamo has in reserve, we should not forget that in 2021 Yuri Moroz's team scored 11 points out of 15 possible. After devastating victories over outsiders (Olympic - 6: 0, "Desna" - 9: 0, "Minai" - 6: 0), Kyiv drew twice in a row.

First, they were suspended by Zorya (1: 1, Vikentiy Voloshin's goal was answered by a penalty kick by Artem Milchenko), and then by Rukh (2: 2), which gradually attracted all the best students of the Karpaty training system. . Vasyl Runich scored two goals for Dynamo, Dynamo scored Volodymyr Brazhko and Vladyslav Vanat, who now shares first place in the list of scorers with his youth team partner Bohdan Vyunnyk from Shakhtar.

By the way, the Pitmen won all six matches in 2021. There were no such huge scores as 9: 0. But all six times Fernando Valente's team won by at least two goals. And where Dynamo lost two points, Donetsk took all three: Kolos - 3: 1, Rukh - 2: 0, Zorya - 5: 0, Olimpik - 3: 0, Desna "- 3: 0," Lviv "- 2: 0.

Vorskla, Dnipro-2021 and Rukh also scored more points than Dynamo in the matches of 1 - 13 each, but out of 18 possible. This allowed them to improve their tournament position. Thus, Rukh (ranked fourth) is now third, Dnipro-1 (seventh) is fifth, and Vorskla (10th) is sixth. Zorya and Minai also climbed one step.

Desna (six defeats), Olympic (one point) and Ingulets (three) had the worst six rounds in 2021.
