U-21: recovery, review of the opponent and preparation of the youth national team of Ukraine to return home
The Turkish training camp of the youth national team of Ukraine is coming to an end.
After the last match at the Antalya Cup tournament, the players of the youth national team of Ukraine had a day of recovery. The load players received depending on who spent how much time on the field duel with the Slovaks (2: 3). The team also passed tests for coronavirus. Fortunately, they all turned out to be negative.
Meanwhile, the head coach of the blue and yellows Ruslan Rotan and his assistants attended a friendly match between the youth national teams of Turkey and Serbia, our first opponent in the qualifying round for Euro-2023 (U-21).
It will be recalled that the rivals of the Ukrainian team in the fight for a ticket to the finals of the European Championship will also be the national teams of France, Northern Macedonia, the Faroe Islands and Armenia. Selection for the blue and yellows starts on September 3.
