Geography for the national team of Ukraine: there are still five potential rivals in Europe

Currently, the national team of Ukraine has a balance of meetings at the international level with representatives of 69 national associations from five confederations (did not play only with the teams of Oceania). 

This year, our national team will play another new opponent among UEFA members. Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will face Andriy Shevchenko's wards in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers (matches will take place on October 12 and November 16), should become our 51st opponent from Europe. However, one rival is no longer on the political map: Yugoslavia first changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro, and then split into two.

Thus, of all UEFA members, Ukraine has never played against Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein and Ireland. Taking into account the selection of the 2022 World Cup, the list of associations should be reduced to four. If, however, before that our footballers do not play at Euro 2020 with Belgium ...
