The gathering of the national futsal team of Ukraine has started on the eve of the Euro-2022 qualifying matches with Denmark and Albania

Oleksandr Kosenko's wards have started preparations for the three final matches within the group stage of the Euro-2022 selection.

In April, the blue-yellows will meet Denmark (twice, on the 7th and 8th), as well as with Albania (11th). They are all fights will hold in Zaporozhye in the Palace of Sports "Youth". The start time of the matches is 19.00 in Kyiv.

Yesterday, April 4, our team gathered in Zaporizhia and held the first training session, today in the blue-yellow two sessions. Pre-game training and theoretical classes are planned for tomorrow.

All 15 players from before published Alexander Kosenko's list arrived at the location of the national team. According to the head coach of the national team of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tsypun received a hip injury, but there is hope that the Prodexim goalkeeper will return to official matches.

In the group round, 32 participants were divided into eight groups of four teams. For the first time in the history of the tournament, teams at this stage will play against opponents at home and away, holding two matches against each opponent in the group. Eight group winners and six top runners-up will join the Netherlands in the final stage. The two runners-up, who did not make it directly to the final tournament, will play in the playoffs. 

Play-offs: November 14-17, 2021.
