Euro 2022 in futsal. The situation for the national team of Ukraine in the ranking of the second teams of the selected groups
Ukraine's futsal team has secured second place in the Euro 2022 qualifying group and is awaiting UEFA's decision on the match against Albania.
After two victories over Denmark in Zaporozhye (6:2 and 8:2) blue and yellow secured the second place in the quartet. This concludes the April training camp for Oleksandr Kosenko's wards, as the Ukraine-Albania game, scheduled for April 11, were canceled. The fate of the last match in qualifying group 1 will be decided by UEFA.
Currently, in the ranking of teams that occupy the second place, the Ukrainians are in third place. The top six teams out of eight will go straight to the European Championships, while the two worst will play each other in the playoffs. Note that the last matches of the group stage of qualification will be held on April 14.

In the group round, 32 teams (16 participants in the elite round of the 2020 World Cup qualifiers, nine winners of the qualifying round groups and seven winners of the butt matches) are divided into eight groups of four teams. For the first time in the history of the tournament, the teams at this stage will play against opponents at home and away, holding two matches against each opponent in the group. Eight group winners and six top runners-up will join the Netherlands in the final stage. The two runners-up, who did not make it directly to the final tournament, will play in the playoffs.
Play-offs: November 14-17, 2021.
