The national team of Ukraine in cyber football will play in the playoffs of the eEuro-2021 qualification

On April 12, the national team of Ukraine in cyber football in the discipline Pro Evolution Soccer held the matches of the second game day in the selection of the European Championship UEFA eEuro-2021.

The Ukrainian team, represented by two cyber football players (Serhiy Sergobibika Marchenko and Ihor Ighor_8 Lyubchak), played four game series in qualifying group A. Each series consisted of two matches, the sum of the results of which revealed the winner of the match.

The first series of the national team of Ukraine took place in a nervous struggle - with the team of Northern Macedonia: the starting game ended in a draw, so everything was decided in the second match, in which the colors of the Ukrainian flag were defended by Serhiy Sergobibika Marchenko. Losing in one ball, he managed to snatch victory from his opponent, and the Ukrainians won the series with a score of 6: 4.

The key was the battle against the Spanish national team, success in matches with which could open the blue and yellows an unobstructed path to the European Championship. To do this, our team had to win the group favorites with a difference of three goals. And the prerequisites for success were in both meetings, in which our gamers took the lead and showed a decent game against one of the top national teams in Europe. However, in the key episodes the decisive role was played by the exceptional skill of Spanish cyber football players and the killer realization of goal moments - defeats 2: 3 and 3: 4.

In the next confrontation Igor Ighor_8 Lyubchak provided the Ukrainian team with a decent handicap, scoring five goals in the goal of the Estonian national team. And the final result was not affected even by the unexpected defeat of Serhiy Sergobibik Marchenko, who lost to his opponent with a score of 1: 3.

The final round was no longer of tournament significance for the national team of Ukraine, which secured the second place in the group ahead of schedule and participation in the playoffs of the eEuro-2021 qualification. Therefore, the final series of Ukrainian cyber football players gave the team of Finland, which sought revenge after the March loss, almost without a fight - 1: 5.

Then the national team of Ukraine in cyber football will play in the playoffs of the European Championship qualifiers. In total, 10 teams will take part in it, which will take second place in their groups. According to the results of the draw, our team will get to one of the two groups with four other contenders to reach the final round. The blue and yellows are waiting for eight decisive series, which will determine their fate in the current European campaign. The eEuro-2021 will feature three teams from each group with the most points.

It will be recalled that the second European e-football championship under the auspices of UEFA will be held on July 9 and 10 in London.
