The Ukrainian Football Association is launching a new football project for junior high school students

The first football classes for schoolchildren of the city took place on the new football fields of Kyiv, which were built on the initiative of the Ukrainian Football Association.

In particular, students of metropolitan schools № 280, 113, 105, 309, 228, 291, 127, 323, as well as schools № 319 named after V. Lobanovsky and Scandinavian gymnasium were able to join such lessons.

Such classes provide acquaintance of children with the basics of playing football on a high-quality artificial surface of new playgrounds, of which there are already about 100 in Kyiv. Institute of Football - a joint project of UAF and the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Football Association will also provide such football sections with balls and the necessary equipment for training. Star veterans of Ukrainian football will be involved in the lessons. The first training, which took place at the school. V. Lobanovsky, as well as in schools № 309 and 228, were visited by the first vice-presidents of UAF Anatoliy Demyanenko and Vadym Kostyuchenko.

"When I was growing up, we didn't have such playgrounds, we played in the yard, on ordinary ground. It is great that now children have the opportunity to train and organize matches on quality coverage, and the Ukrainian Football Association takes care of that. The kids still spend a lot of time outdoors, and it's good that they get together and play football. I wish children who play football to grow up healthy, to find themselves in sports, as well as to glorify our country in football or other activities in the international arena, "said Anatoliy Demyanenko.

For his part, Vadim Kostyuchenko, First Vice President of the UAF, noted the importance of continuing the development of football infrastructure in our country. "Our main task, as a national association, is to create the necessary conditions for all interested children and adolescents to have the opportunity to play football and sports in general. The more young Ukrainians there will be in football sections both in big cities and in the smallest settlements, the more we will get star football players of our clubs and national teams in the future. In addition, the mass development of football is the key to healthy and successful development of the state, "Vadym Kostyuchenko is convinced.

As part of the new project, it is planned to form teams of junior students in the future, which will be able to take part in the all-Ukrainian tournament among school teams.
