Ukrainian U-21 Championship: Dynamo won the eighth tournament out of 17

The last season of the youth championship of Ukraine is over. U-21 club teams will be disbanded. Some may want to declare them as second teams in the first and second league tournaments. Dynamo will remain the most titled participant in the Ukrainian youth championship in history.

Kyiv won almost half of the draws - eight out of 17 (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021). Shakhtar has five victories (2009, 2011, 2012, 2018, 2020). Another four sets of gold medals of the U-21 championship were shared by Karpaty (2010), Zorya (2013), Illichivets (2014) and Dnipro (2015).

Almost everything in this season's standings was clear three rounds before the finish, from the moment of publication preview. The leader won three matches, Shakhtar lost two points, Oleksandriya played according to the Pitmen's schedule, but failed to catch up with Rukh, which entered the top three in its debut season.

Olympic played very hard at the finish. Taking into account the warm-up of the 10th round with Zorya, the Donetsk team played four matches during this period, of which it won three. Decent result under any circumstances, but it looks even more remarkable, given that in the previous 22 matches, "Olympic" managed to win only ... one victory. And here - three in four games! This spurt brought nine points (more than was scored in the previous 22 rounds) and helped to leave the last place in the standings.

Vorskla and Dnipro-1 were not so confident, but managed to move Kolos from the fifth step to the seventh.

Vladislav Vanat scored three more goals, raising the bar record to 26 goals.
