UAF Appeals Committee changes decision of UAF SCC regarding coach Oleksandr Sevidov in the case of FC Sumy

The Appeals Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association satisfied the appeal of the Committee on Ethics and Fair Play of the UAF against the decision of the SCC of the UAF dated 12.03.2020 and rejected in full the satisfied complaints of OV Sevidova. in this case.

The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association, having additionally considered the case on the application of the Ethics and Fair Play Committee of the UAF regarding possible violations of the Code of Ethics and Fair Play of FC Sumy, banned coach Sevidov OV by its decision of 12.03.2020. any activity related to football for a period of five years. Disagreeing with this decision, Sevidov OV and the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee appealed the decision. Sevidov OV asked to cancel the decision, and the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee asked to change the decision and remove the coach for life.

The UAF Appeals Committee decided to satisfy the appeal of the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee and to change the decision of the UAF SCC, prohibiting OV Sevidova. carry out any activity related to football (administrative, sports, etc.), for life. The decision of the UAF Appeals Committee can be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne.
