Eduard Sobol: "There is competition for a place in the national team for Euro 2020"

Defender of the national team of Ukraine Eduard Sobol spoke about the peculiarities of the team's training process and the competition for a place in the team.

Yesterday in Kharkov blue-yellow continued work at the training meeting in preparation for the final part of Euro 2020. Defender Eduard Sobol commented on the work process and atmosphere in our team.

"It's always nice to come to the national team and meet the guys. There is a very good atmosphere. We rested for a couple of days and now we are working again. All is well, and the mood and emotions are positive.

There is competition for a place in the national team at Euro 2020. Everyone works on training with full efficiency and dreams of getting to the coveted 26th. We are making every effort, and the coaching staff will determine who will go to the European Championship.

Yesterday there were tactical exercises, we worked out both the way out of the defense and the transition from attack to defense. Finally, some combinations were played. We are preparing a little bit, and I am sure that we will approach Euro 2020 in the best condition, "said Eduard Sobol.

We will remind that on June 3 the national team of Ukraine in Dnieper will hold a friendly duel against Northern Ireland (the beginning - at 21.00).
