The women's team of Ukraine selection for the friendly against Japan has been determined

The head coach of the national women's national team of Ukraine Natalia Zinchenko has published a list of players called to the training camp to prepare for a friendly match with the Japanese team.

According to the All-Ukrainian Women's Football Association, our team will include 22 players. The blue and yellows will gather on June 5 in Kyiv immediately after final of the Cup of Ukraine. According to the medical protocol, all members of the national team will undergo mandatory PCR testing for COVID-19. The next day the delegation will leave for Japan.

Goalkeepers: Iryna Sanina (Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv), Daryna Bondarchuk (Zhytlobud-2 Kharkiv).

Defenders: Lyubov Shmatko, Anastasia Voronina, Anna Petryk, Olga Basanska (Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv), Kateryna Korsun, Iryna Podolska, Anastasia Filenko (all Zhytlobud-2 Kharkiv), Maryna Shainyuk (Ladomyr Volodymyr-Volynsky).

Midfielders: Olga Ovdiychuk, Daria Apanashchenko, Iryna Kochneva (all - Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv), Yana Kalinina, Veronika Andrukhiv, Yana Malakhova (all - Zhytlobud-2 Kharkiv), Yulia Khrystyuk (Old Dominion, USA) , Khrystyna Pereviznyk (Ladomyr Volodymyr-Volynskyi).

Forwards: Nadiya Kunina, Anna Voronina (both Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv), Nikol Kozlova (Virginia Tech, USA), Victoria Girin (Ladomir Volodymyr-Volynsky).

The friendly match will take place as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Japan Football Association and to prepare teams for official matches. The confrontation between the national teams of Japan and Ukraine will be the first in the history of these teams. The game will take place on June 10 in Hiroshima at the Edion Stadium Hiroshima and will start at 15.15 local time (09.15 Kyiv time).

With this match, the Ukrainian national team will begin preparations for the upcoming confrontations in the qualification for the 2023 World Cup, which will start in the fall of this year. According to the results of the draw, the blue-yellow team in Group B dropped out play against teams Spain, Scotland, Hungary and the Faroe Islands.
