In Donetsk region more than 400 children took part in the project "Open football lessons"

This year the project "Open football lessons" in the Donetsk region started in Kramatorsk with the participation of students of local schools, about which we have already told.

Later, the city of Dobropillya picked up the baton. The opening of the event, which took place at the local stadium "Avangard", was attended by the head of the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of Dobropil City Council Anton Burlachenko and representatives of the Football Association of Donetsk region. They wished the participants inspiration and good health and stressed that the main goal of the project is to involve children in a healthy lifestyle.

All participants of the project received memorable gifts, and schools and CYSS - football equipment from the Ukrainian Football Association.

"Open football lessons" continued to walk through Donetsk region and began on May 17 in Selidove. Students from four schools in the city gathered at the Shakhtar Stadium, which was being reconstructed as part of the Big Construction project. Six different "stations" with interesting exercises did not leave any child indifferent.

The mayor of Selidovo, Vitaliy Nishin, thanked the UAF for the opportunity for children from different walks of life to take part in this great football holiday and encouraged children to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Another football lesson in the Donetsk region took place on the synthetic field in the Pearl of Donetsk Region camp. It should be noted that it was organized on the initiative and efforts of local volunteers, inspired by events held in other communities, as well as the Football Association of Donetsk region. One hundred schoolchildren from five schools of Sviatohirsk OTG became participants in the project on May 21 and 22. Traditionally, after passing the football "stations", the students learned the basics of football, found new friends and had fun.

Svyatogorsk Mayor Volodymyr Bandura also visited the festival and thanked the UAF for the opportunity to hold a big football holiday in the city. In addition, he wished the project participants to have fun outdoors, find new friends, learn to take responsibility for their health and get unforgettable emotions.

We remind you that for the second year in a row the format of the "Open Football Lessons" has been adapted to the norms of the anti-epidemic regime and social distancing. Thanks to the creativity of volunteers who were trained the day before, a contactless form of work was organized and the simultaneous stay of children on the playgrounds was limited.
