Euro 2020. The national team of Ukraine held its first training session in Romania

The national team of Ukraine started the first full day at the Euro as usual, with breakfast.

The morning press conference can be called a bit unusual for head coach Andriy Shevchenko and team captain Andriy Pyatov - at 11.30 a meeting with the media does not take place so often in the national team, but during the final tournament it will be traditional pre-morning briefings, due to the specifics of the blue-yellow schedule.

After returning to the hotel, the national team had a theoretical session - preparation for the first match of the tournament began. And in the evening the team went to its first training session at the Voluntari Stadium, which is the official training base of the blue and yellows at the Euros.

After the day of arrival, the training was engaging. Also, the coaching staff is already beginning to adjust the training for a specific opponent, with a match with which the Ukrainians will open their performance at the tournament.

Former Dynamo Kyiv player Florin Cernat, who is now the sports director of the Voluntari club and personally supervised the process of preparing the lawn for the work of the Ukrainian national team, watched the training from behind the fence. The field - without exaggeration, in perfect condition. Head coach Andriy Shevchenko and one of his assistants Oleksandr Shovkovskyi thanked their former teammate from the field for their support and quality lawn before the start of the training.
