The Open Football Lessons project was picked up by Odesa and Volyn regions

In the Odessa region "Open football lessons" gather children for the eleventh time. At the end of May this year, the project visited the village of Usatovo, where it was attended by about 100 children from five secondary schools in the community.

Yuriy Makoveichuk, the chairman of the Usatov village council, addressed the guests of the event with a welcoming speech. Also present at the celebration was a member of the Executive Committee of the Odessa Regional Football Association, ex-president of FC "Chornomorets" Hryhoriy Bibergal. After the announcement of the opening of the festival, the children held a mandatory warm-up engine and moved to the main exercise sites.

10 project volunteers - teachers, football coaches, social psychologists, police officers - played with the children and even turned into adult children for a few hours. 

All young participants of the holiday received T-shirts with the symbols of the project, medals and diplomas for participation and many positive emotions and impressions.

Also at the end of the school year, the Open Football Lessons project took place in Holoby, Volyn Oblast, with the participation of students from Brukhovychi, Velykyi Porsk, Popovychiv, Radoshyn and, of course, Holob. Teams of schoolchildren from the villages of Bilashiv, Voloshky, Drozdny, Kolodyazhnenska and the village of Pidrizhye of the Velyka community also arrived.

Young athletes were greeted by Golob village head Serhiy Garbaruk, first deputy head of Kovel Regional State Administration Roman Kultzman, deputy head of Volyn Football Association Vasyl Kokhanovsky, chairman of the Volyn Football Association Referees Committee Ihor Shkolny, head of Kovel district football federation Viktor Khomyleny Viktor Khomynsky.

The field of Druzhba Stadium was divided into 12 playgrounds, where children played for 15-20 minutes. At the end of the allotted time, the teams took turns. 

Each participant of the football holiday received an award and a gift.

We remind you that for the second year in a row the format of the "Open Football Lessons" has been adapted to the norms of the anti-epidemic regime and social distancing. Thanks to the creativity of volunteers who were trained the day before, a contactless form of work was organized and the simultaneous stay of children on the playgrounds was limited.
