The Ukrainian beach soccer team took the first step towards the 2021 Euroleague Super Final, defeating the German team

Mykola Kostenko's wards played their first match of the qualifying round of the Euroleague-2021 today. They were opposed by the German team.

The first period was left for the blue-yellows. Oleg Zborovsky headed the ball into the opponent's net in the 3rd minute. However, at the beginning of the second 12 minutes, the Germans played back thanks to Swenson's shot - 1: 1.

In the final period in the 34th minute Swenson made a double, but in just 30 seconds Andriy Pashko restored the balance - 2: 2. An additional three minutes was decisive. 25 seconds before its completion, Pashko scored his second goal and brought victory and two points to our team.

The results of the match were summed up by the head coach of the national team of Ukraine Mykola Kostenko: “The weather interfered in our game again. In the morning it rained and the sand became very viscous. We can say that beach soccer has receded into the background, and the main thing was the physical training of players. The Germans have always been famous for their "physics", so the fight turned out to be very difficult.

We went ahead, had a few moments, but, unfortunately, did not realize them. In the second period they missed, and the game on counter courses began. The refereeing was also a bit strange: any fall of the Germans - and a whistle in our direction.

Andriy Pashko made two points in this match, but I don't want to single anyone out. All the guys are good. Nobody dropped out of the game, everyone fought to the last, fulfilled the set tasks. The goalkeepers played well, and so did the defense. There are no complaints about the mood and self-sacrifice of any of the guys. "
