The national beach soccer team of Ukraine claimed the second victory in the Euroleague-2021 Superleague qualifying

The Ukrainian beach soccer team claimed the second victory in a row in the qualifying tournament for the 2021 Euroleague Super Final in Nazare, Portugal. 

Mykola Kostenko's wards after yesterday's success in a match with Germany today met with Azerbaijan.

Already in the 5th minute Oleh Zborovskyi put the blue-and-yellows ahead with a bicycle kick, but a minute before the end of the first period Orhan Mammadov equalized.

The second 12 minutes started unsuccessfully for our team. Sabir Allahguliyev closed the far post, and Azerbaijan took the lead, and in five minutes he made a double.  

In the third period, it was the turn of Dmytro Voitenko, who first reduced the gap, and then turned the game into overtime - 3: 3. An additional three minutes passed without goals and it came to penalties.

Our footballers performed them perfectly. Dmytro Medvid, Maksym Voitok, Ivan Hlutskyi, Andrii Pashko and Yurii Shcherytsya scored accurately, but the Azerbaijanis once hit the post - 5: 4.

After two rounds, the national team of Ukraine has three points and takes second place in Group A. In today's second match in our four will meet the national teams of Portugal and Germany.
