Serhii Kryvtsov: Romanian fans support us, it's nice

Players of the national team Serhii Kryvtsov and Heorhii Bushchan took part in the regular press conference held today at the Ukrainian Media Center in Bucharest.

Here are the answers to Serhii Kryvtsov's questions.

- Have you ever played against the striker of the Austrian national team Marko Arnautovic? Maybe you received advice from someone on how to act against him?

- Personally, I did not play against him. I know about his high qualification, he played in the English Premier League for a long time. Next to him, probably, will be another powerful forward. We will learn the plan for the game and how to counteract them from our coaching staff.

- Transfermarkt provides the selection of Austria as almost twice as expensive, than Ukrainian. What do you think about this?

- I will only say that money does not play football. 

- Now Andriy Yarmolenko is extremely popular among the players of the national team of Ukraine, how do you feel about it?

- Yes, Andrii is popular now, it is quite natural, because he is the leader of our team. Yarmolenko deserved it for his performances in recent matches.

- How does the support of your family affect you?

- The support of loved ones is very important. They watched the match with Northern Macedonia on television together. This is the first time that children have watched such a tournament and understand how important this championship is for us. They call after every fight. They also watched the movie "Special Atmosphere", they say they got a very strong impression, there were goosebumps.

- How do you assess the quality of the lawn at the Arena Nacional, and do you feel the support of the Romanian public?

- The lawn at the stadium is in excellent condition, very good drainage. Local fans support us more, that's nice. We are connected with this country by the coach, Mircea Lucescu, I worked with him, and now Georgy Bushchan works.

- How do you assess the actions of the defenders of the national team in the first two matches at the Euro?

- Defense is not just a line of four or five players. The whole team defends and misses goals. We had tactical exercises, we analyzed mistakes during the defense, believe me, this applies to all players who participated in the matches. We have a team sport, you can't single out or blame someone individually.

- The national team of Ukraine in the match with Austria will be satisfied with a draw, it can also suit the Austrians under certain schedules. How can this affect the game?

- We go to every fight for the sake of victory and do not think about the next rivals until we take this step.

- If you had a day off and you could spend it without restrictions, at your discretion, what choice would you make?

- First of all, we would go for a walk in the center, because being in the capital, I would like to visit the sights, enjoy the beauty of the city. Unfortunately, we do not currently have such an opportunity due to quarantine restrictions.

- Do you manage to watch matches of teams from other groups? Which team, in your opinion, shows the strongest football in this part of the tournament?

- Yes, we watch other fights, evening - almost all. Italy, in my opinion, now looks like the most prepared team, France also stands out. I have selected three or four favorites for myself, let's see how the tournament will turn out in the future.
