On June 21, the national team of Ukraine in the third round of the group round of Euro 2020 lost to Austria (0:1) and took the third position in Group C. Now Andriy Shevchenko's wards can make it to the playoffs only by the rating of third places (four best teams out of six).

Won the group: Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, England.
Took second place in the group: Wales, Denmark, Austria, Croatia.
Went out of third place in the group: Switzerland, Czech Republic.
Progressed from the group, but no position specified: Sweden, France.
Eight teams apply for four vacancies: Slovakia, Spain, Poland (Group E), Germany, Portugal, Hungary (Group F), as well as the teams that have completed the group tournament and are in standby mode - Finland (Group B) and Ukraine. group C).

At the moment, the blue and yellows are in fourth place in the ranking of third teams. Our team is already ahead of Finland, but can not bypass the Czech Republic and Switzerland. So now we are worried about the situation in groups E and F. We need one favorable schedule out of two.
Group E
It is necessary for Spain to beat Slovakia (the latter will have three points and a negative goal difference, however, the score is 3: 2, 4: 3, etc. does not suit), and Sweden not to lose to Poland.
The situation in which Slovakia will defeat Spain and Sweden will not lose to Poland also suits us. Then Furia Roja will have only two points in assets.

From the rules of the competition
At the group stage, each team plays one match with each other. There are three points for a victory, one for a draw, and zero for a defeat.
If two or more teams in the same group have the same number of points, the criteria for the distribution of places are as follows:
1. More points scored in matches between these teams.
2. The best goal difference in matches between these teams.
3. More goals scored in matches between these teams.
4. If criteria 1—3 is applied, but the teams remain equal in terms of indicators, criteria 1—3 are only applicable for matches between two teams if according to the previous criteria 1—3 you can weed out all other commands (third or third and fourth). If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria 5 to 10 apply:
5. The best goal difference in all group matches.
6. More goals scored in all group matches.
7. More victories in all group matches.
8. If in the last round of the group stage two teams with the same indicators play each other, their rating is determined by a series of penalties (this criterion does not apply if more than two teams are equal in points).
9. Fair Play in all group matches (1 point — for a yellow card, 3 points — for a red card as a result of two yellow, 3 points — for a direct red card, 4 points — for a yellow card, followed by a direct red card).
10. Place in the overall ranking of the qualifying tournament.
