The championship of Ukraine among women's teams starts today: 2021 clubs will compete in two stages in the top league of the 2022/12 season

Today, July 30, the draw of the 31st championship of Ukraine among women's clubs of the major league begins.

In the season-2021/2022 12 teams will take part, which will compete in two stages. In the first stage, all teams play matches in one round according to the approved calendar. The sports indicators obtained at the first stage are preserved.

According to the results of the first stage, depending on the places taken by the teams in the standings, two groups of six participants are formed, who will play two more game rounds (at home / away) according to the approved calendar.

Group 1 (places from 1st to 6th) - determine the champion and winners of the major league, as well as the team that will participate in the UEFA Women's Champions League-2022/2023).

Group 2 (places from 7th to 12th) - determine the teams that will leave the major leagues.

Following the results of the championship of Ukraine in the top league of a season-2021/2022 the teams which will occupy the 11th and 12th places, pass to the first league. The team that takes 10th place will play two transition matches with the team that will take 3rd place in the first league.
