Premier League. Successful start of "Minaya", the second fiasco of "Chernomorets"
Today, Minai played its first match in the new championship, as the match between Zakarpattia and Dynamo in the first round was postponed.
Vasyl Kobin's team came to the game in a significantly changed lineup compared to last season. In particular, 36-year-old Yevhen Seleznyov made his debut in the ranks of "Minaya". And such changes turned out to be successful - thanks to Oleg Vyshnevsky's goal in the 90th minute, the hosts celebrated the victory. Minai broke its anti-record club series within the UPL - five defeats in a row.
Chornomorets played its second match outside its hometown after returning to the elite, hosting Dnipro-1 at Dnipro Arena due to the unpreparedness of the stadium in Odessa. The sailors left the opponent too much space in their half of the field, and the nominal guests used it well. As a result - 0: 3, the second in a row devastating defeat of Odessa after fiasco in the last round in Chernihiv.
Forward of the national team of Ukraine Artem Dovbyk played a full match for Dnipro-1.
