Today Dynamo and Shakhtar get to know their rivals in the group round of the Champions League
Today, August 26, at 19.00 pm Kyiv time, the draw for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League will start in Istanbul, in which the champion and vice-champion of Ukraine last season - Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar Donetsk - will take part.
It will be recalled that Dynamo got directly into the main draw of the Champions League, while Shakhtar beat Belgian Genk (2: 1, 2: 1) and French Monaco (1: 0, 2: 2).
According to individual odds, 24 of the 32 participants in the Champions League formed three baskets - from second to fourth. But the champions of the first six associations in the UEFA odds table, as well as the winner of the Champions League (Chelsea) and the winner of the Europa League (Villarreal) were among the first.
According to the regulations, the representatives of one association, even if they get into different baskets, will be separated from each other. In addition, according to UEFA, Dynamo will not be in the same group with the representative of Russia.
