The draw of the sixth traditional all-Ukrainian tournament "Crimea is Ukraine" among U-16 teams ended in Kherson region.

This time teams from Odessa, Melitopol, Mykolayiv, Mariupol, Kyiv and Kherson took part in the competitions, which took place from August 25 to 29.

The final matches took place today in the regional center at the Crystal Stadium. In the decisive match, the football players of the Kyiv Complex Children's and Youth Sports School "Champion" beat the three-time winner of the tournament - CYSS-3 "Chornomorets" (Odessa) with a score of 0: 11.

The bronze medalist of the competition was the home team. In the game for the 3rd place KDYUSSH "Education" (Kherson) won DYUFSH IFC "Nikolaev" (Nikolaev) - 7: 3.

After the final match, the award ceremony of the winners and participants of the tournament took place. The awards were presented by Andriy Haidaenko, Executive Director of the Football Association of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, Oleksiy Krucher, Executive Director of the Kherson Regional Football Association, Valery Zolotukhin, Head of the UAF Children's and Youth Department, and Dmytro Rzhondkovsky, UAF Special Projects Manager.

Before the solemn ceremony, all those present observed a minute of silence in memory of the defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

In his speech, Valery Zolotukhin conveyed greetings from the President of the Ukrainian Football Association, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andriy Pavelko.

In addition to cups, medals, diplomas and individual awards, each participant of the tournament received a ball in memory of the tournament from the Football Association of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

the best defender of the tournament - Ilya Ilyashenko (CSYU "Education");

the best midfielder of the tournament - Nikita Baginsky (CYSS "Champion");

the best striker of the tournament - Rostislav Pogrebnyak (IFC "Nikolaev");

the best player of the tournament - Denis Shmatov (CYSS "Champion").

For active participation in the tournament, the team of CYSS-11 "Chornomorets" was awarded a diploma.
