Dmytro Kryskiv: It's nice to start the European Championship qualifying with victory

The goal against Serbia was the debut for Dmytro Kryskiv in the youth national team of Ukraine.

Today the youth national team of Ukraine will play another match of the qualifying tournament Euro-2023 (U-21) against the team of Armenia in Kovalivka at the Kolos Stadium. And the day before at the open training of the blue-yellows the journalists talked to the author of the only goal at the gates of the Serbs Dmitry Kryskiv.

- Dmitry, congratulations on the ball scored in the goal of Serbia. What does it mean to you?

- I am glad that this goal brought victory to the national team of Ukraine. These were very important for us three points.

- Is this your first ball for the "youth"?

- In official matches - yes (smiles).

- You had the opportunity to excel.

- Exactly. But no luck. No problem, maybe you can make up for lost time in the next fights. The main thing is that we won. Now we are preparing for the match against Armenia with positive emotions.

- What does the coaching staff emphasize on the eve of the upcoming meeting with the Armenians?

- The team is not easy, but I am sure that we will learn all the intricacies of our opponent's game from the coaches. We all believe in the positive outcome of this match for us.

- Is the national team of Ukraine physically ready well?

- So. The flight from Serbia was short. In addition, we had a good recovery. Therefore, we will approach the match with the national team of Armenia in maximum readiness.
