The Ukrainian women's beach soccer team took sixth place in the 2021 Euroleague Superfinal

The Ukrainian women's beach soccer team took part in the 2021 Euroleague Super Final, which took place from 9 to 12 September in the Portuguese town of Figueira da Foz. 

The head coach of our team Roman Pachev called 11 football players to perform at the tournament.

The composition of the women's national team of Ukraine in beach soccer

Goalkeepers: Anastasia Terekh ("Dream-2006" Odessa region), Snizhana Volovenko (Domino's Pizza Kyiv).

Outfield players: Taisiya Babenko, Myroslava Vypasnyak, Anastasia Klipachenko, Yulia Kostyuk, Yulia Dekhtyar, Maria Tikhonova, Iryna Dubytska, Alyona Kyrylchuk (all - "Dream-2006" Odessa region), Marianna Kramna (Domino's Pizza Kyiv).

In the group round of the national team of Ukraine in Quartet 2 faced the teams of the RFU, Spain and the Netherlands. In the first match, the blue and yellows lost to the RFU (2: 4), in the second - to Spain (2: 7), but in the third they defeated the Netherlands (7: 5). As a result, our girls took third place in the group.

In the match for the fifth place, Roman Pachev's wards were opposed by the host of the competition - the Portuguese national team. The first two periods passed in a fierce struggle without scoring goals. At the beginning of the third 12-minute, the Ukrainians opened the scoring through the efforts of Yulia Kostyuk. However, our rivals were able not only to win back, but also to snatch victory thanks to a double by Jamila Marreiros. So, 1: 2 - and the national team of Ukraine takes the sixth place in the Superfinal of the Euroleague-2021.
