League of conferences. Zorya was defeated in Norway at the start of the group stage

The first experience of acquaintance of Ukrainian clubs with the League of Conferences was unsuccessful - "Vorskla" and "Kolos" could not overcome the qualification. Therefore, Zorya had the opportunity to improve the statistics of the representatives of the domestic championship in the new UEFA tournament.

At the beginning of the match against the current champion of Norway, Luhansk tried to dominate, constantly pressing even the opponent's goalkeeper. The hosts periodically tried to respond in this way, and the game on a perfectly flat artificial turf looked quite open and lively.

In the first half, Bude Glimt's players threatened the goal more often. Saltnes alone had two moments, but in both cases he did not score in the best way. But when Skrypnyk's wards adjusted to the cover, sharpness appeared in their actions as well. Kabayev found himself in a striking position several times, but failed to make an optimal decision, and Khomchenovsky scored from a long distance dangerously, but a little inaccurately.  

Closer to the break, the players of the Norwegian club did not use a few more opportunities. Sampsted's right-back was dangerously connected to the attack, and Berg missed the goal from outside the box. During the first half, Zorya players never managed to pass to one of their forwards and take them out on a date with the goalkeeper.

The second half started with two quick balls by Bude Glimt. Saltnes jumped over everyone after a corner kick, and Solbakken shot at the goal, completing a swift attack. It became even harder for Luhansk to counter the rivals, who felt even more confident after that.

In the 60th minute after the interception, Zorya created a moment, but the Norwegians made better use of the opponent's mistake - Pellegrino threw the ball behind Matsapuri's collar. And only in the compensated time Gromov soaked the score, realizing the exit on his own after the interception and the pass of Christian.

Zorya midfielders Bulets (replaced in the 71st minute) and Kochergin (yellow card), who were called up for the September training camp of the national team of Ukraine, took part in the game.
