The head coach of the youth U-18 national team of Ukraine Serhiy Nagornyak told what he expects from the first training camp of his team this year.

Tomorrow, the youth national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2004) will start training, during which it will play two control matches with the team of Slovakia (October 8 and 10). Before starting work, the head coach of the blue-yellows Serhiy Nagornyak answered questions from the official UAF website.

- Sergey Nikolaevich, this is the first gathering of your team this year. How were the candidates monitored?

- I was present at many matches, and what I could not see live, I watched on the Internet.

- Now you managed to call everyone you think is the best?

- No. Some of the boys will go with the national team born in 2003 to the qualifying round of the European Championship. I welcome such a situation. Excessive experience will never stop football players.

- What is the main task of this collection?

- We have both players who have come to the national team more than once, and newcomers, so we want to give the guys to feel the atmosphere of the national team again, talk to players, train so that the wards remember everything we worked on before the pandemic.
