Velykyi Kuchuriv in Bukovyna is becoming a center of school football

This year, Velykyi Kuchuriv in Bukovyna not only took part in the UEFA Playmaykers project for girls aged 5-8, creating football sections for them, but also joined the Open Football Lessons project of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Football Development of Ukraine Charitable Foundation. ».

At the local level, the project was organized by the Football Association of Chernivtsi region and the community of Velykyi Kuchurov. It is also worth noting the inclusive component of classes thanks to the synergy with the project "Yes, I can!" Parimatch Foundation International Charitable Foundation.

The children were greeted by the head of the community Vasyl Toderenchuk, the national coordinator of the project from UAF Yevhen Stolitenko, the regional project leader from the Football Association of Chernivtsi region Vasyl Balanyuk and the president of the children's and youth football club "Sparta" (Chernivtsi) Oleh Kerdey.

The leaders of the local volunteers, including teachers, coaches, police, and a psychologist, were Ihor Nastasiychuk and Mircha Radul, and Khrystyna Kolisnek from the Kazka kindergarten conducted an incendiary warm-up.

The organizers of the event are convinced that the attitude of the local community and the authorities to sports and a healthy lifestyle of children can serve as an example for other communities not only in the region, but also in Ukraine in general. They called Velykyi Kuchuriv one of the centers of school football in Bukovyna.

The football holiday did not leave indifferent neither the children nor their parents, who gathered at the local stadium, and made the community even more sporty and cohesive.

We remind you that for the second year in a row the format of the "Open Football Lessons" has been adapted to the norms of the anti-epidemic regime and social distancing.
