In the starting round of the group stage of the Women's Champions League-2021/2022 Kharkiv "Zhytlobud-1" lost to Spanish "Real".
The champion of Ukraine was among the 16 teams that made their way to group stage UEFA Champions League among women's teams. In previous rounds, Zhytlobud-1 defeated Bulgaria's Sofia (5:1), Slovenian "Pomurje" (4:1) and the Cypriot Apollo (2:1, 3:1).
Today Kharkiv women held a kick-off match at Group Metalist against Real Madrid. The first half passed for the advantage of the guests, although the Ukrainians inflicted several inaccurate blows. In the 34th minute, Navarro managed to push the ball into the goal and open the score after a pass from the right flank. At the end of the half, del Castillo missed a good moment.
In the second half of the match the situation almost did not change. "Zhitlobud-1" was difficult to reach someone else's goal, while the Spaniards had another goal chance, which was not used by Navarro. At the end of the meeting, Yaman rescued Kharkiv residents after Meller's blow.
As a result, Zhytlobud-1 lost 0: 1 in the debut match of the group stage of the Champions League among women's teams.
