Children of Kakhovka district met with Anatoliy Demyanenko at the Open Football Lessons

The Open Football Lessons project of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Football Development of Ukraine Charitable Foundation in the Kherson Region was initiated this fall by the football associations of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Kherson Region and covered two villages in the Kakhovka district - Velyka Lepetykha and Hornostaivka.

On the football fields, which were divided into sectors, children were offered a variety of exercises with soccer balls, fun relay races, games on accuracy, speed, coordination and more. Among others, there were also playgrounds for psychologists, healthy lifestyles, and an inclusive playground. Yes, thanks to the synergy with the project of the international charity fund Parimatch Foundation "Yes, I can!" inclusive classes and further regular inclusive football sections will be introduced.

This festival has once again proved that football is open to everyone, regardless of ability, for boys and girls. TPO children from the Crimea, children of anti-terrorist operation participants, children from families in difficult life circumstances were also invited to it. Kakhovka fulfilled the main goal of the project - to make all children together. And all the children who took part felt like real champions these days.

Before the event, children and volunteers were delighted to meet with football legend, First Vice President of the Ukrainian Football Association Anatoliy Demyanenko. They were also greeted by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Serhiy Kozyr, the executive director of the Kherson Regional Football Association Oleksiy Krucher.

Serhiy Kozyr stressed that such football lessons are very important for children, especially schoolchildren. After all, at this age, children form all the habits and skills. And it is very important that they choose a healthy lifestyle and enjoy sports.

Anatoliy Demyanenko conveyed congratulations from the President of the UAF, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andriy Pavelko and wished that there were as many such wonderful events in the Kherson region as possible.

In turn, Oleksiy Krucher invited the guests to fulfill their honorable mission - to present new footballs to representatives of local schools.

In addition, all the equipment that was used for the events remains with the local schools for further classes, each child also received a T-shirt with the project logo, and each volunteer - a sports suit.

We remind you that for the second year in a row the format of the "Open Football Lessons" has been adapted to the norms of the anti-epidemic regime and social distancing.
