Clarification of the UAF Referees Committee on the interpretation of game episodes by the referee of the match of the 12th round of the Vbet League between Vorskla and Shakhtar

The Committee of Referees of the Ukrainian Football Association explained the interpretation of the game episodes in the match of the 12th round of the Vbet League between Vorskla (Poltava) and Shakhtar (Donetsk), which took place on October 23.

18 minutes. Player Vorskla deliberately disrupted Shakhtar's counterattack, preventing the latter from advancing and using his hands and body in an illegal manner. The yellow card was issued correctly for disrupting a promising attack.

28 minutes. The Vorskla player decides to play with his feet against the Shakhtar goalkeeper, striking the latter recklessly in the chest, despising and not caring about the opponent's health. The VAR, in accordance with the protocol, checked for the possible issuance of a direct red card. The referee rightly decided to make a yellow card, which was the second for this player in the match.
