On Thursday, October 28, happened three more matches of the 1/8 finals of the Vbet Cup of Ukraine of the 2021/2022 season. One match, "LNZ" - "Dnipro-1", was postponed.

The most intriguing among today's confrontations was probably the meeting of the undisputed leader of the first league, Metalist, with the participant of the League of Conferences this season, Kolos. The Kharkiv club, which is loudly knocking on the door of the Vbet League, has already managed to pass three opponents to this stage, including forcing the elite Desna to go down the distance. Today, Kharkiv took the lead after a goal by central defender Myzyuk, who came to serve a corner. This ball was enough for them to win.

Thus, Kharkiv, which lost Metalist 1925 the day before yesterday, will be represented by one club in the quarterfinals. Just like Lviv. If the "citizens" from the capital of Galicia overcame the first-league "Alliance" due to the better performance of the post-match 11-meter, then their neighbors from "Rukh" lost to "Zorya".

And in this match it took extra time, however, it did not reach the penalty shootout. And while Luhansk for a long period of the game had the advantage, conducting attack after attack, they could not overcome the defense of Lviv. But after Rukh seized the initiative, two goals were scored. Iranian Shahab took advantage of failures in the defense of the hosts and made a double.

By the way, today's game day was unique due to the fact that the team of the Belarusian specialist took part in each of the three matches. Oleg Dulub (Lviv) celebrated success, and his compatriots Leonid Kuchuk (Rukh) and Serhiy Kuznetsov (Kolos) failed.
