Taras Stepanenko, the midfielder of the national team of Ukraine, spoke with the media at a press conference after the match with Bosnia and Herzegovina (2: 0) together with Oleksandr Petrakov.

- We fulfilled the minimum task, reached the playoffs, - said Taras Stepanenko. - We were very worried, it was noticeable, but in the end we showed character and deservedly won.

- You actively prompted your partners in the first half. What exactly did you want to tell them?

- Yes, really, we talked to the guys during the game. We were very worried, experienced players have a special responsibility in such matches. Such fights are always nervous.

As for tips - we played too widely, there was a lot of marriage. I tried to tell Malinowski and Zinchenko to go inside more and control the ball. All the guys are good, it was a game for the result. Lately, we are often asked to play beautiful football, but today there is a result - and this is the most important thing.
