WU-17: the girls' national team of Ukraine will learn the names of rivals in League A of the Euro-2022 selection on December 9

Serhiy Sapronov's wards will compete for a ticket to the 2022 European Championship (WU-17) pafter entering League A.

This fall, the girls' national team of Ukraine WU-17 took it first place in its group of League B in the Euro-2022 qualifiers, ahead of the teams of Estonia, Northern Macedonia and Moldova. The second round of the tournament, where our team will play in League A, will take place in the spring of 2022. After that, the seven winners of League A groups will join the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the final stage, which will take place from 3 to 15 May. There will also be a transition of teams between leagues, which will be relevant for the first round of the European Championship-2022/2023. 

As of the UEFA, the draw of the second round of the European Championship-2021/2022 will take place on December 9 this year (beginning - at 14.30 Kyiv time). The seeding of participants before the draw of the second round depends on which places in their groups the teams took in the first round.

The 28 teams of League A, including the seven teams that have risen from League B, will be divided into seven groups of four teams. In the second round, they will play in the format of mini-tournaments, seven winners of which will reach the final stage. The fourth-place teams in the groups will start the first round of the new draw in League B.

Teams in League B, including the seven teams that have dropped out of League A, will also be divided into groups. In the second round, they will fight for tickets to League A of the 2022/2023 season. The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will also play in the second round, although it has a place in the final stage as the host.

Dropped from League A: Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Ireland, Wales, Switzerland, Scotland.

Second places in the first round: Lithuania, Estonia, Israel, Turkey, Azerbaijan.

Third places in the first round: Luxembourg, Kazakhstan, Northern Macedonia, Faroe Islands, Latvia, Albania.

Fourth place in the first round: Georgia, Armenia, Moldova.
