World Cup-2023. The women's national team of Ukraine lost away to the team of Hungary
In the away match of the World Cup qualifier in 2023 with Hungary, the women's national team of Ukraine was defeated, responding to four goals by only two goals.
After the match in Glasgow, where the women's national team of Ukraine played a draw with the Scottish team, the coach of the blue and yellows Luis Cortes made only one change in the starting lineup. Shevchuk came to the game with the Hungarian national team in Kishvard, replacing Andrukhiv on the flank.

The starting part of the match stunned the Ukrainians, who missed two goals in the first 11 minutes. In one of the first attacks of the Hungarian national team Shmatko made a mistake after a flank serve, and Vago took advantage of this gift, hitting the goal Bondarchuk. And soon Kravchuk's foul led to a dangerous free kick, from which Vago put the ball into the far nine with an incredible long shot.

The national team of Ukraine moved the game to half of the rivals' field, but received a third slap in the counterattack. In the middle of the half, a rapid attack of the hosts ended with Zeller going on a date with the goalkeeper and a productive end from the Hungarian footballer.
All that the Ukrainian team had in the attack before the break was two moments in Shevchuk. At first, Julia closed Khimich's shot on the far post, but did not hit the plane of the goal. And then Sioch reacted to the football player's blow in the near corner.
In the second half of the match, Luis Cortes released Kravets instead of Kalinina, shifting Apanashchenko from defense to the center of the field. With the help of ball control and combination actions, the coach tried to bring his wards back into the game.

In the second 45 minutes, the Ukrainians more often visited the other half of the field and tried to use the speed qualities of Ovdiychuk and Shevchuk on the flanks. However, our girls were extremely short of the exact last pass, the accurate final blow.
But Kravchuk's coaching replacement for Andrukhiv played in the 70th minute, because Veronica had enough of the first meeting with the ball to make an effective pass to Apanashchenko. The captain of the team shot the goal of the Hungarian national team with the second touch.

In the 78th minute Ovdiychuk did not realize a high-speed counterattack of the Ukrainian team, failing to break through the goalkeeper from an advantageous position. But in a few moments Khimich responded to Andrukhiv's flank shot and sent the ball into the net from a few meters.
Unfortunately, the comeback of the national team of Ukraine did not happen. Apanaschenko's ricochet, which stood in the way of the ball during Nemet's shot, came as a surprise to Bondarchuk and buried the intrigue in this match.

Playoffs
The nine teams that take second place in the groups will advance to the playoffs, which will consist of two stages.
The top three among the second teams will have the opportunity to play directly in the second stage of the playoffs. The remaining six participants will compete for three passes in single-match confrontations in the first stage. The three winners of the first round and the three teams that advanced directly to the second stage will determine the three winners of the UEFA playoffs in one-match duels.
The two winners of the second-ranked UEFA playoffs (criteria applied to the results of the group stage plus the playoffs of the second round) will receive two automatic places at the 2023 World Cup, while the third winner will continue his journey in the intercontinental playoffs.
