The first local physical education teachers received UAF certificates and D-licenses, as well as sets of equipment in branded backpacks “Everything for a Football Lesson” and school football manuals for high-quality football lessons and other football events in their schools. They successfully completed free state courses according to the curriculum prepared by UAF specialists in accordance with the requirements of the New Ukrainian School and approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It allows them to receive one credit under the European system of advanced training. In addition, UEFA has granted permission to participants who studied under a special football program specifically for school teachers to receive UAF football D-licenses.

Within the framework of the UAF program, the courses were organized by the Kyiv Union of Football Associations (chairman — Andriy Zasukha, representatives of the scientific and methodological committee — Oleh Spichek and Ihor Khimych) and the Kyiv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education of Pedagogical Personnel (acting rector — Natalia Benderets, head of the department — Viktor Kachurovsky).

All teachers noted that the UAF program will have many positive results for the physical and emotional development of children and will bring many benefits to schools implementing football.

This year, the Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk (two streams of courses), Luhansk (2), Kyiv, Kherson, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Vinnytsia regions have already joined the UAF educational program for school teachers.
