Significant progress: Ukraine ranks 15th in UEFA women's clubs coefficients table
In 2021, Ukraine showed significant progress in the UEFA coefficients table for women's clubs, rising seven places from last year's ranking.
Union of European Football Associations published European Cup ranking of women's teams at the end of 2021. Ukraine, which last year ranked 22nd, this year has made significant progress. It is currently located on the 15th step of the register.
It should be recalled that the ranking is formed by the representation of countries in the UEFA Women's Champions League. So, this year WFC Kharkiv-1 took part in the tournament from Ukraine. Our champion was among the 16 teams that made their way into the first ever group stage of the Women's Champions League. In the group together with Real, PSG and Breidablik Ukrainians took third place.
