U-17: Ukraine to start preparing for the Euro-2022 elite round in February

Already in March, Oleg Kuznetsov's wards are to take part in the elite round of the European Championship.

Working days in the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 (players not older than 2005 born) will begin in early February. From the 2nd, Oleg Kuznetsov's wards are scheduled for the Turkish training camp, during which our team will play three control matches. This training will be timed to the performance in elite selection round of Euro-2022 (U-17). These official competitions will take place in Italy from March 23 to 29. In addition to the hosts, the rivals of the Ukrainians will be the teams of Kosovo and Poland.

It will be recalled that a total of eight group winners and seven second place winners with the best results in matches against the first and third teams of their group will advance to the final tournament. 

In the event of reaching the Euro, which will be held in Israel from May 16 to June 1, the blue-and-yellows will take place NTZ with sparring on the eve of the tournament in the period from 5 to 15 May.

In the second half of the year, more precisely, in September (from the 19th to the 27th) and November (from the 14th to the 21st), Oleg Kuznetsov's team is planning two more meetings, during which it will play four control matches.
